Hello, Cozy Readers! The past couple months have been very busy ones for my non-writing work, so not much mystery news this month. Also, by “very” I might actually mean “extremely.” That said, I’ll be back to drafting and editing soon, so I should have more news to share later this year.
I’m taking these couple months away from writing as a time to do some “accidental gardening,” too. I’ll admit I was inspired by some literal accidental gardening we did earlier this year. At the very back of the fridge, several cloves of garlic had begun to sprout, and, having a bit of space in the yard, we planted them, just to see what happened. And now we have a lovely row of garlic greens.
Mostly, my metaphorical gardening means that I’m letting my current drafts rest and my mind wander to see where it goes. If anything sprouts in the back of the metaphorical fridge while I’m working on other projects, though, I’ll plant it and see what happens!
Sending cozy wishes for great reads,
Tammy D. Walker
